Gochujang Pork chops
Super quick and easy week night meal! Gochujang Is a fermented red pepper paste. Most of the time it is NOT gluten free, however there may be some out there that are. If you are gluten sensitive and can’t find one that is GF then you can substitute it for sriracha
Ingredients:
1 pork chop per person
2 tbsp Gochujang
2 cloves of garlic minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
fresh cracked pepper
1-2 dashes of liquid smoke (if pan frying)
method:
Add all the ingredients into a zip top bag and shake to combine. Taste the marinade, if not spicy enough for you add more Gochujang. Add your pork chops and shake to coat. Place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 24 hours. Best result hang between 6-12 hours.
Grill to to an internal temperature of 140 degrees F and allow to rest for 5 minutes. Serve with rice a pickled carrot slaw or your favorite side dishes.
