This marinade is super simple it’s got just 5 ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry. It is perfect for fish, shrimp, chicken, pork, lamb or anything else you want to marinade. It also makes some amazing steak sandwiches, I’ll include how to make those below.

2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
1 inch of ginger chopped
1 tbsp of gochugaru or red pepper flakes

In a gallon zip top bag simply mix together all the ingredients and add what ever you are going to be marinading. Marinade for a minimum of 1 hour and up to overnight.
Steak sandwiches
INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs flank steak marinated
1 red onion
Provolone cheese
Baguette or ciabatta
Mustard
Mayo
Any other sandwich toppings you like
method:
Marinade the steak. Slice the red onion fine and add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tbsp of champagne/white wine vinegar, 1 tsp red pepper flakes and 1 tbsp of water. Stir to combine and allow to sit for a minimum of 20 min. Grill the steak to 155°F and then allow to rest for 5 min. After the meet has rested slice paper thin against the grain. Toast the bread, add mayo, mustard, some pickled red onions and provolone cheese; then pile high with the steak. Add anything per your preference I.e. jalapeños, avocado, lettuce, tomato, hard boiled egg and so on. The only thing that is left to do is enjoy!!
