The perfect salad dressing
The perfect salad dressing
This dressing puts all store bought dressings to shame. After making this you will never buy a vinaigrette again! This recipe makes about a quart and will keep in your fridge for 3-4 months, but it won’t last that long.
ingredients
3 TBSP Jam (any fruit jam you like I recommend orange or fig)
3 TBSP mustard (any will work I recommend Dijon)
1/3 cup vinegar (champagne, white wine, balsamic, anything just not white distilled)
2 cups oil (olive oil is my go to but sunflower and peanut oil are good alternatives. Use an oil that is neutral)
Salt and pepper
method
In the base of a blender add your vinegar, jam, and mustard. Turn the blender to high and slowly add in your oil. This will allow the dressing to emulsify and. Relate a nice creamy dressing! Once done adding the oil, add some salt and pepper to taste and place in a resealable jar and label it with the date so you know when you made It and enjoy it!
