the Orange Negroni

So it’s quarantine season and I really wanted a Negroni, however I didn’t have Campari which is 1/3 of the cocktail. So I had to find a substitute for it. I needed something bitter and what I had in my cabinet was Aperol. So after 3 variations I got a really good variant of the classic Negroni.

ingredients

1 oz of gin

1 oz sweet vermouth

1 oz Aperol

1 oz fresh orange juice

Orange twist

Ice

Method

This is a super easy cocktail. Measure and pour all the spirits and juice into a rocks glass. Add ice and stir till the outside of the class is ice cold. Now take your twist and express, squeeze the twist so that the oils spray the top of the cocktail, it placing it inside the drink as garnish. Now enjoy!
